I agree, and there have been laws to prevent wolf cruelity. Matter Fact up till about a year or so ago. there was a federal law to prevent shooting of wolves (they were considered endangered). The problem is that the wolf has been getting a bad wrap from society for being cruel heartless killers. when in fact the wolf is one of the most loyal, caring, and are one of the more intelligent animals (perhaps under the great apes) so yes they should be protected and respected.
